Many handheld GPS units track where you come from. I am not sure that the backup of the "map" for other purposes. You must read the instructions and see what he is capable. Or pay money for someone who does what he wants. Mine is a cheaper model, and it goes without saying that if you pay hundreds of dollars more, you get more.
